Huntsville Christian Church sponsors Cub Scout Pack 412 and Boy Scout
Troop 412. Troop 412 was chartered in October 1998 in the Creek District of
the Greater Alabama
Council. Our troop and pack numbers were selected to remind us of the
following Biblical principle:
"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set
an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, and in
purity." (I Timothy 4:12)
This scripture reinforces the scout slogan to "do a good turn
daily", the motto to "be prepared", and the points of the
Boy Scout Oath to "keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and
morally straight."
Troop 412 meets each Tuesday night from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.. While our Boy Scout program is intended to complement
our church youth program, it is open to all boys from ages 11 to 18.
Attendance at HCC is by no means mandatory for membership in Troop
