6.2 Sightings
* March, 2006 *
Our sighting for February is
our own Fellowship and Caring
Ministry Team. While planning for the Valentine Banquet they sponsored,
they joined in support of the Youth Missions Trip. They chose this mission
to be the recipient of the cake auction funds and donated money for
childcare. Then once again YOU, our
HCC Family joined in. Thank you for helping raise another $533 for the
team; in both providing cakes for the auction and purchasing them.
Update from January
In late January, Michael Davidson and Jim Biard participated with M.E.N.
on a mission trip to Salvatierra,
Mexico.
While there, they helped with work on the pastor’s house and the church.
They also attended several worship services and a youth conference.
According to their feedback,
the youth conference was great and inspiring. Jim’s music made a huge impact. He did solos in Spanish. The group sang in Spanish and English. Their prearranged songs made a
difference in “making a connection” with those present. They used background tracks and printed
words. They sang at three church
services: the youth convention, a restaurant, and at a pottery factory.
