About Galaxy Kids Way Galaxy Kids is an exciting time of worship, learning, and fun for Kindergartners - 5th graders! Schedule Worship Hour - 11:00AM
Galaxy Kids meets on Sunday mornings during the worship service at 11:00AM. Students are walked over from their
Sunday School class and meet up with their worship hour teacher.
* Galaxy Kids meets in Room B and can be picked up by a parent / guardian following worship service. (Galaxy Kids will meet in the Fellowship Bay beginning, Sunday, February 19th). ^ Please note that the 4th Sunday of the month is Family Sunday and children in Kindergarten thru 5th grade will remain in worship service. Sunday School - 9:30AM - Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Graders: Meet in the orange room in the children's wing of the church. - 3rd, 4th & 5th Graders - Meet in the green room in the children's wing of the church. * Please note that a parent / guardian need to pick up students from their classroom before worship service begins. Chilren's Check in / Out Procedures The safety of our kids here at HCc is one of the most important things to us. All children nursery thru 5th grade must be checked and in out for Sunday School and Worship Hour. Vist our children's check in / out procedures page here. Curriculum Through skits, videos, object lessons, games, creative storytelling, and a brief teaching, the Worship Kids team seeks to instill a love for Jesus in elementary school students. The leaders and kids pray for one another and learn together how to know, love, and obey Jesus. We are currently using Elevate Kids for our curriculum. Each week children will take a fun journey of biblical learning, and learn how to apply Bible concepts and stories to their everyday lives. Join the Team Out goal in our Worship Kids Way class' is to provide a safe, secure, loving environment for our kids. Therefore, we want to make sure our volunteers are safe and loving people for our kids. The steps to join our Worship Kids Way team include:
- complete an application. You can get a copy of it here
- Once we receive your application, you will be contacted by one of our staff members for 15-20 minute interview.
- We will run a security background check on every volunteer
- Upon approval, you'll be assigned a certain week to work each month in the age that you have chosen.
